Introduction: 

In your reading of Barry Lyga’s novel, The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl, you’ll probably notice that comics have a stigma as a low form of art and are largely not respected the same way that prose writing is.  But, in Barry Lyga’s novel, even though the characters have a great reverence for comics and Fanboy draws comics himself, you don’t actually get to see any comics.  In this webquest, you’re going to be closely examining comics as a genre, one with many different subgenres and formats (Comics aren’t just about super heroes, and they don’t only come in books!), and you’re also going to be creating your own comic.

We will be using our class wiki to organize and share everything that we find and create!
